Dave was just in an accident on his way over Hwy 17, went into the embankment and rolled, no other vehicles involved. He is at the ER getting checked out but appears to be mostly ok, ppl who saw it said he was lucky to walk away & should play lottery. Left shoulder aches and had a bit of glass in forehead. When I was in Jr High I estimated that I was reading about 600 books a year. Then my reading slowed to a comparative trickle as eyesight, migraines, and arthritis made reading more difficult. Today I am grateful that I had the energy to do some cleaning and as a reward, slavery free chocolate was brought to my door: Dagoba lavender-blueberry dark chocolate and Newman's Own Organics peanut butter cups.

I am grateful for the idea of home delivery for groceries. I just ordered from the local supermarket and my order will be delivered tomorrow. My head hurt too much to shop today.

♥ Today I am grateful for my husband who has supported me for these last ten years after my heart disease diagnosis and surgery, plus the heart attack and later a stent. Happily married people live longer than single people after heart surgery and I know he has prolonged my life. ♥

Today I am grateful that my husband was here to stop me from burning the house down when I forgot that I had water on the stove for nearly an hour. Leaving the stove on is an all too frequent occurrence these days as my memory fails ( Read more... )
