Reading through the NYT Health section this morning and came across an article about the newest fad diet: The Cookie Diet.

I got an email forward from  my dad this morning that really rather pissed me off.  It's crap like this that perpetuates intolerance and keeps us all from being able to live peaceful lives.  If people would just get a clue we wouldn't have to deal with nearly as much crap as we do today.

They are apparently outfitting the buses with GPS and time clocks.  On the one hand, this could be really cool.  They are trying to automate the call-in aspect of the bus systems so when your bus is running late you can just call into the system, state the bus you are looking for and the system tells you exactly where your bus is.  Cool, right?  ( Read more... )
