Long time... Miss all of you!!!
Well here's an update on my CRAZY life!!!!
Well, in June my lawyer, from the car accident that I was in my first year at college, handed over my case to the "Tiger".... Dyer, Grafflo, Mann, and Schultz. And the lawyer who's handleing my case now is really cool!! However, we don't go to court til next March. (Which so seriously sucks)
The dating relm of my world....
I got tired of all the freaking drama in my life and paid the $50 to do the EHarmony thing. I figure that if a guy pays $50 to meet someone (aka: their match) that he's really in it to meet someone, and not in it for just the "dating/drama." I'm talking to like three guys in "open communication" and actually talking/dating one other guy. His name is William Franklin Chapman. The first night we met, we caught up at Applebee's in Middletown. We talked over a couple of drinks, shared a desert together. So now it's about 11-12am... we go out to my car and talk more, while listening to music. We talked about our faith!! OMG!!! he went on a missions trip to LA for about a year and he told me about his experience out there. I asked him if he has ever danced in the Spirit? He said yes, that when he did he was the only white person in the chruch (he stuck out like a sore thumb- so he says). He said that he loved every minute of it. I asked him if he's ever been passed out in the Spirit? He told me about the time when the men of his church were at a Men's Conferance, when the pastor washed all the men's feet. He said that when the pastor washed his feet, he just gave it all up to the Lord and feel in compleate adoration at His grace.
Needless to say I didn't get home til like 2:30am. And it has just been really cool to just hang out with him, and to talk with him!!! Now, he's not the kind of guy that one would picture me with. Why do I say this? Because I've dated the athletic build type of guy. Frank is really athletic, he runs every day, and lifts weights. But he's kinda on the huskey side. However- when he's holding me in his arms (hugging, or I'm leaning on him with his arms around me) I feel safe. He's a big teddy bear!!! It's a nice feeling to have!!!!
Then this past Monday I found a job posting at staples@work. I had gotten to work about 30-45 min early to check it out. The posting that I found was posted that same day!!! SO I called the home office in Framingham, MA to get contact names and numbers. The women that I spoke with asked me to send all of my information to her, and that she would forward it along to the Quill office. I told her that Jay Dietz had like 3 copies of all of my things, and she then said that she would get it from him and forward it along to them.
I called Jay yesterday to get the contact info. and he sent me an email requesting all the info off the posting so he could get me intouch with the right person. I sent a reply back to him...
Then this afternoon I got a call from the recruitor (if that's spelled right?)!! She basiclly did a "pre-interview" over the phone!!! And told me to call her back on Tuesday 7.26 to set up the interveiw appt for the following week!!!! I'm so stoked!!!!
Please pray that God will help me get this job in all ways!!!???!!!?? For the gas $$ to get there, hotel costs, then if I get this job to find an apartment, help me afford this apt to get it in a lease agreement (you know the deposit), and to just have a safe journey out there? I really want this job, I've prayed for it so long. And now since this posting has my name written all over it (the qualifications and everything else), I know it's for me.
Please pray that I get this?!!
