crock pot mushroom risotto

I used a mix of short-grain and long-grain brown rice, veggie stock with a little extra water, an indeterminate quantity of "baby bella" mushrooms, and more basil than the recipe called for because it was pretty old. It wasn't done in the allotted time, so I left it running overnight. In the morning, it was a bit dry and al dente, so I added some skim milk. Next day, still wasn't enough, and it was kinda bland, so I added some more water, more cheese (real cheese, I initially used the shelf-stable sprinkle kind, though I added more than the recipe called for), more salt & pepper, a bit more garlic, some rosemary, and some more (possibly less elderly) basil. Wish me luck...
