We lost by 2 points, but it was a good debate regardless. Ivana and Jaya were very, very nervous, but they both did quite well despite nerves :) Their second speaker was an Asian with a really deep British accent, which was weird- his blazer pockets included Chess Club, Computer Society and Table Tennis. :P He was REALLY good, though.
I think I did quite well, but I repeated myself again because I started panicking about not talking for long enough. I did this last time, as well! But still, it is only my second year 11-level debate, I'm coping well for a year 10 who isn't even meant to be debating at this level anyway, and now that I've done two I think I'm getting used to it.
Chelsea, you don't need to worry, because Sam wasn't debating against us :) so a certain person cannot go anywhere near him. Happiness! :D
Sucks that drama is over. I feel like there's no point going to school if I'm not going to go to rehearsals again after school. Drama was like the light at the end of the dark tunnel of my school day :) I miss the people and the company. But, hey, NEXT PRODUCTION WILL BE ACE. Despite the sad, sad lack of year 12s.
I....was going to say something else here, but I forget. Oh well.
