Heroes: For those of you who (perhaps sekritly?) are finding yourself searching for a good Mohinder/Sylar fix:

Among old pens, a few crumpled pieces of paper and a magazine in what he assumes is Hindi, he finds a pack of condoms and a bottle of lube. The label on the bottle has started to peel at the edges, as though it’s been rolling around in the bag for a long time, but the contents seem more or less unused. Loneliness and hope, he thinks, Mohinder in a way as pathetic as Gabriel Gray used to be, alone with his watches. It’s all right, though, for both of them, because that time is ending.
There is nothing pathetic about what they’re going to become.

QaF US: Raw by burnitbackwards. Brian/Justin, NC-17. Brian and Justin decide to try sex bareback. (No, really.) And lo, it is awesome.
HP: Snatch by didntyoupotter. H/D. Excellent Draco POV, really cool story. Great dialogue to boot!
Stargate SG-1: Chrysostom by tafkarfanfic. Daniel/Vala. No matter what she says, this is so not gen. Daniel! Sex by talking! God.

The Courtship of One Jared Padalecki or How Jensen Ackles Drives Men to Sexual Deviancy by notthequiettype. Jared/Jensen, NC-17.
Adorable, adorable, adorable. Total warm fuzzy fic. You'll find yourself all: You go, Jared! You go, tiger!
As part of Operation: Get Jensen Naked, Jared decides that he's going to cook everything for the picnic himself. Fried chicken, coleslaw, potato salad, the whole thing. It takes hours and by the time Jared's finished, he's covered in food, sweating profusely and cursing Jensen. He even makes chocolate fudge brownies from scratch. No, not from the box scratch, real from scratch with flour and sugar and cocoa powder and a whole lot of profanity, mixed with love.
Your ass better be worth all this work, Ackles.
SPN: Under Hill by astolat. Sam/Dean, explicit. In which Shalott gives good plot and good porn and there are also elves. So. Much. Glee.

Waiting Games by nutkin, Sam/Dean, NC-17. Wow, what a great read. Awesome build-up, dialogue, *everything*.
SV: No More Worlds by mahaliem. Clark/Lex. I really wasn't sure what she was going to do with this story, and I wound up being half-right. An interesting ride.
Bloodletting by astolat. Lex/Lois/Clark?. (Question mark not a typo, no.) Very hot, very intense, and you're all, it's so short.
Academic by rivkat. Clark/Lex. Angry floor sex.
The air between their bodies was warm, humid, the way they'd always created their own weather, storm-heavy.
*sighs* Yeah. That's good stuff.

ST: TOS: Normally, I hate spoiling endings of stories in any way, but ir was sort of the whole point of my post, so.
What's really strange is that I honestly cannot remember an ending in a story that ever made me upset because it was sad. There have been sad endings that I have read, but they were okay because...because I don't know, I could make up something to make it better, or it just didn't hit me the right way or while I went, oh, hey, this is totally sad, it didn't resonate in...a pure way. There have been endings that were sad, but they were so *wrong* that I could be like, oh, whatever.
I was up reading Star Trek again till...okay, really, really late, and Terminus by Judith Gran is the first story where I just--it made me really sad. Kirk/Spock, NC-17. I sat in my chair for a couple minutes and went and poured myself some juice, and put on some boppy music to dance around to at four in the morning, but I find that I'm still all: HEY. HEY. HEY, LADY today.
(Does anyone know if there were ever any sequels to that? Written by the author or another author or--anything? I mean, I can deal if there are not, but I'm all curious, because while that ending actually is...really good for the story, it leaves me unsettled and dry-mouthed.)

Rather, a picture that I would imagine questions would be asked about. *g*) Kirk goes off to rescue a kidnapped Spock. *wibbly* Total h/c fic, and thoroughly enjoyable.
