Equination--Mount Nebo Farm

Mount Nebo Farm has had an amazing year mostly thanks to our outstanding stallion Dance of a Villian. Since coming to our barn he has not run a speed fig below 100 and his lowest was 102.9.  This wonderful sprinter has simply been one of the stars of the barn always trying his best.  With Dance of a Villian being 6 years old now we are currently planning on retiring him to the breeding shed at the end of the year.  With this in mind we have purchased some decent broodmares.  Its amazing how one good stallion can change your stable plans. The orginal idea was not to get involved in the breeding end of the game but concentrate on finding and running good consistent high level claimers.  Dance of a Villian blew that plan out of the water!

One of our original old warriors, Salivate, has retired from racing.  He had gotten to the place where he was unable to run consistently and competively at the 20k level so has a new home with his old groom.  HIs final racing stats are: 69 - 14 - 18 - 10 ($502,850), not too shabby for an older gelding.  Sal, as he is now called, has settled in happily in his new home and is learning to be a trail horse.
We are also proud to announce that 2 of our geldings have gone undefeated his year! Take Two and Sand Prowler are both 4-4-0-0.  Take Two has been running in 50k but should be able to go up to 60k and Sand Prowler recently went from 40k to 50k races.  Way to go boys!
Since we have purchased some broodmares and Dark Hollow has provided a couple of stallions we now have yearlings.                  Our new yearlings are as follows:
Aughisky by PREDATOR out of Fairylands Forlorn--his name is one of the fairy "water horses" from Ireland
Caracal by Alleycat out of Baby Imagion
Donnybrook by Fit to Fight out of Madeline Keyworth a mare that we purchased the breeding for so 17 year old Fit to Fight would have a foal on the ground
Lorcan by Almostas Hullalaboo out of Prolific a Gaelic name that means little fierce one
