Hooray
Yesterday I went in for an interview for a retail job and then basically was hired within the hour. \o/ I've been without any kind of income since graduating in June, so this was a happy and long-awaited moment, hah. And then yesterday night, I got an email from an editor who was referred to me by my former faculty advisor--he's looking for interns at a literary magazine he heads in my area and wants to meet with me. It would be unpaid, but this is something I'm actually *interested* in and is legitimately related to my degree and experience, so... YAY. I'm hoping I'll be able to fit it in between the new job schedule and my class schedule. Over three months of nothing, and then two opportunities pop up on the same day... strange how things seem to happen in short bursts sometimes.
