The boss has deserted me again, gone to the far reaches of Europe, leaving me alone to deal with those customer things and those agent people. It is a sad and tragic fate made bearable only by the fact that I have the internets to keep me company. Sometimes though, and just sometimes mind you, real peoples are better than the internets.

For example, I went to the British Museum on Friday with an old university friend to see the Hadrian Exhibition. This was fun even if, despite the exiting warnings of sexually explicit materials, there really wasn't anything even worthy of much more than a PG rating.

I went back to the British Museum again on Saturday, because I am that keen, to wander around a bit with j_apollo and monkey_junkey, to discuss the meaning of hieroglyphic determinatives that look like feet in a box, and to wander around the exhibit of some of Hokusai's prints. I cooked dinner too, fed them wine, watched some Torchwood then forced them to run down the stairs to the station for apparently no reason at all. Transport for London are LYING LIARS.

Currently, I am In-Training for NaNoWriMo, so am writing about 1000 words a day or probably more actually of random fic. This is very productive, but slightly disturbing seeing as I have actually managed to finish a fic.

Finally, I was looking at what ballets were on at the moment and laughed my socks off when I discovered English National Ballet were doing Manon. This, for those of you who know the tale, is the ballet I saw in Paris with the explicit sex scene. So not taking my mum to see that.

Right. Back to writing/pretending to work/staring blankly into space for me.

cows and associated behaviour, i have a life, working goes here
