Moving Update and Road Trip Advice
The Internet is back, Lucas graduated, the move went smoothly. So there you are. We still have boxen just *all over* the house, in basically every room and some closets. It's...a little hectic. A little unsettling. I haven't slept much - getting used to weird noises, trying to conquer my over-active imagination, etc. But last night was better than the first, so perhaps tonight will be better yet.
There are tons of things I like about the house, though. I've got the kitchen decked out mostly, and it looks pretty cool. There's counter space so I can actually COOK things, which is nice. Our yard is *fantastic*, front and back, and our deck is great. It's nice to have room to move about in, too. If I can just stop my stupid imagination from making me look around every corner and jump at shadows and stay awake late at night. :( Actually, I'd appreciate some prayers for that, if you don't mind. It's tougher than you'd think.
We went to the library today! We have library cards! I came home with five books, because I can't help myself! Hooray! :)
davisac1 and I are taking this phenomenal road trip in a week (A WEEK!!) and we just decided to make it even more phenomenal by adding a scavenger hunt element. You need to go visit her blog and leave suggestions for tasks we can complete. You guys are ridiculous and you really need to tell us awesome things to do. Go now!
