Sixteen Morgan knew he would never tell another living (or undead) soul what he witnessed in L.A. It was brutal and he knew he would continue to have nightmares about it his whole life.
Yet he hadn't been as scared during all of that as he was now. He was standing in an inspection stall as a guard was signing the form okaying Morgan to enter the city. Well, at least he still had his health.
He met the others who had all been inspected already and were waiting by the bus.
"God, what took you so long?" Reid asked. "You didn't have any suspicious wounds, now did you?"
"Don't listen to him," J.J. said playfully punching Reid's shoulder. "We just got out ourselves."
"Can we just go?" Morgan really wished he was anywhere else right now. Preferably with Reid and perhaps somewhere not too cold. Other than that, anywhere else would be nice.
"Yeah, we better not waste any time," Hotchner said. "They probably already know we're here."
As they started to board the bus, four cop cars with their sirens whaling, pulled in a circle around the pink vehicle. A woman with short, brown hair and piercing eyes stepped out of the first car and turned on a megaphone.
"Aaron Hotchner, please step out. You are wanted for the murders of Nathan Harris and George Foyet. You will all be taken in for questioning."
"We're too late," J.J. muttered.
"Is that... Elle Greenway?" Penelope asked. "Guys, we're being arrested by the vice president. You don't think..."
"That the president did this?" Reid finished for her.
"The president's seal was on the plane," Hotch said. "Why one of his people? Why not him?"
"You have one minute to exit the bus," Elle said.
The group all looked to each other and it was obvious no one knew what to do, but to slowly descend the stairs one at a time and they were handcuffed by the officers.
Elle walked up to Hotchner and whispered, "It's a pleasure to finally meet you Aaron."

The holding cell wasn't made to fit five people at the local station they were taken to. Reid sat on Morgan's lap to allow J.J. and Penelope room on the bench. Hotchner insisted he was fine sitting on the floor even though they all could see him wince as he eased himself down.
"I should be more worried," Penelope said quietly. Her voice still echoed against the concrete walls. "But I'm not. We did our best."
"Still wasn't good enough," Hotchner huffed.
"Stop acting like this is it," Reid said. "We can still get out of this."
"How? It's obvious they want us dead as proven by the two assassins I had to kill. I'm actually amazed they just didn't shoot us on sight."
"Well, there were people around."
"They want to know if Emily told us anything," Morgan said.
"But none of us know anything about that," J.J. said clearly upset. "Do you think we can explain it to them?"
"Maybe we can give them some "information" and they'll let us go," Penelope suggested.
"They know... What if they know what she did?" Morgan asked. He still couldn't tell the others he knew.
"Oh my God. Morgan, what you said on the bus..." Reid said slowly, his eyes widening.
It all came crashing back to Morgan. He told Reid before he realized who was involved and that they knew who they were. He willed Reid to not saying anything.
"What did he say Reid?" Hotchner demanded.
"He knows how to break out of cells! Duh, he is a cop." He looked down at Morgan smiling. He did remember although at the time he wouldn't believe. He also knew what it meant. He shimmied out of Morgan's lap and plucked a pin from Penelope's hair.
"Ouch! That hurt Reid!' she cried out.
"You have got to be kidding me," J.J. said. "A bobby pin?"
Reid stuck his hand between two of the bars and inserted the pin into the lock. He twisted it around for a minute before the door popped open.
"You can thank me later," he said to the others who all stared in shock, even Morgan. "Now I believe we have some ass to kick."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Elle liked letting a person wait before she interrogated them. Give them time to first worry. Then they would try to come up with a plan. It always failed in the end.
Or so she thought until she saw Hotchner and gang creeping to that monstrosity they traveled in.
She grabbed her gun and followed them outside.
"Don't even think about it!' she warned. They all snapped around to face her. They might have been smart enough to get out of the cell, but she could take them all down before they knew what was happening. There was no escape.
"We took all your weapons. The tires are slashed. What were you possibly going to do?"
"Hitch hike?" the scrawny one said. He was the student, if Elle recalled correctly. The odd one out. They must have kept him for comic relief.
"Well, I didn't want to take you in yet, but I guess I have no choice."
Elle led them to the armored car she had planned to transport them to the White House in. Of course originally she wouldn't actually be the one driving, but plans change. The last few weeks proved that. She had thought these days were over. At least she had kept the underground torture room open... just in case.
After she made sure the door was bolted, she hopped in the cab and hit the highway. Always one to multi-task, she decided to make a few phone calls. First was the asshole who got her into this.
"Rossi."
"Dave, I'm on my way with them now."
"Well, that was fast. I'll be in the office."
Next, her dimwit assistant.
"Ms. Greenway's office. This is Jess."
"Jess, I need you to call Tim in security and get some zombies. Also, have a coffee ready for when I get there and for God's sake, make sure you made it right. We got work to do."
