I was very right in choosing my main Tarot deck, the Robin Wood Tarot - it's a lot like me. Especially in sharing something which is both my strong and weak point - a foundation layer of incurable and almost childish optimistic belief that everything will somehow be all right.

readman_yomiko has this new Tarot deck that she brought to show me, and I don't want to own it, and I only like about half of the cards, but... the other half seems to want to tell me stories. I started browsing it yesterday and somehow ended writing short-short-stories (half a page, really) for three of the cards, and would've probably written more if I weren't ( Read more... )

Interesting that for my first Tarot deck I knew very well what I wanted, and I got it. And now that I'm thinking about getting another one, I know I want something different... but I still like what I like, and the decks I look at are kind of similar to Robin Wood. I actually got my Tarot deck as a present from lovely (and evil) readman_yomiko; so now I am happily playing with it - and planning fanfic around Tarot progressions.

Amazon doesn't love me. No, wait, it doesn't love Russia. I still bemoan the fact that they don't sell used books to Russia, and now...
