Not the best outcome, but probably the necessary one

So do you want me to kill her so you can start over? Cause I'll do it. And I'll even take care of the corpse. I need some new residents in my stock pot.

*thwaps you* No, IB. My tubes are tied, and I can't afford artificial insemination. I can't start over.

But, if you need fresh stock, you may have our dog. :P

Pocket knife? Wow, that'd have landed every boy and half the girls in my second grade class in ... well, nowhere actually, because children under 14 aren't legally responsible in this country. ... Anyway, none of us ever saw a pocket knife as a weapon. It was used for cutting string or fruit and sometimes sticks (and maybe a little carving into school furniture ...).

Evaluation definitely sounds like good idea. While throwing a pillow at somebody is something that might just happen when you're angry and frustrated, choking people definitely should not and she'd be in really deep trouble, if somebody actually gets hurt.

*sigh* So, like I said. It's not the best outcome. It's never the best outcome when your child ends up being incarcerated. At the same time, this is best thing for her.
Better this than 14 months. At least the program might actually help her.

Yeah, the states have become pretty strict about having any sort of blade in the school. The blade she was carrying was just under three inches, which made it a misdemeanor. If it had been over three inches, she would've been facing a felony charge.

We're hoping the program does some good.
