I'm really getting into the new Story of the Year CD, In the Wake of Determination. Tis pretty good.
Also downloaded some 30 Seconds to Mars, and I'm liking them, too.
The new Incubus CD, Light Grenades, unfortunately isn't all that great. Take A Crow Left of the Murder, take out the only two really good tracks (Southern Girl and Here in My Room) and you've got Light Grenades. It's okay...it's not great. Fungus Amoungus is still the best.
I'm jonesin' to see another show. Sometime early next year. I'm prescribing myself two good rock shows a year, and so far I've stuck with that these last two years. I was going to go see Incubus, but the only close show is in Chicago, and I absolutely hate that drive, and it's in downtown, so no go on that. Then I saw the Chili Peppers were having a concert, but it's already sold out for the most part. I need to find a show. To Ticketmaster I will go.
Putting up Christmas decor tomorrow. I think it's entirely too early, but my grandmother wants to get it done, and it's still relatively warm, so I guess it'll get done tomorrow.
Thanksgiving was okay. I'm still not really a big fan of any holiday, birthdays and Christmas included, but it was some good food. Also got paid time and a half at work (Burger King was open...wtf?), and that was a nice bonus.
Work sucks, but I gotta get ready to go.
