(no subject)
So these last few weeks have been interesting, to say the least.
I'm not exactly sure what to say. Here lately, I've just been coming to terms with the state that my life's currently in. I realize that I've rebuilt my life in a year. Granted, it wasn't too terribly difficult, but what I've accomplished is pretty awesome.
I'm completely set to go to college next fall. I'll be working with Andy Flynn to prepare myself for my interview. I'm going to be auditioning with vocal, and with his help, it should be a cinch. I'll also have some minimal requirements on the piano, but those will be simple.
Granny recently told me that she plans to continue working the next two years to help support me while I'm up there. Along with whatever scholarship help I receive, and/or whatever financial aid I qualify for, I shouldn't have to work while I'm there. Live minimally and enjoy my free time, but use it wisely.
I've been spending the last few days getting this semester wrapped up. I finished my final recording tech project today, and I'll be presenting it to the class on Monday. Did a 5 minute piece on "How To Order In A Fast Food Drive Thru". It's good...got nothing but compliments on it so far, so I look forward to presenting it.
I've been recently coming to grips with a side of myself I didn't know I had. The side of me that has been a complete mystery to myself until two months ago. I think I'm a good boyfriend...I hope I'm a good boyfriend.
I'm feeling extremely gifty this year...for obvious reasons. I've spent a considerable amount of money this year...much more than I did last year. I probably spent a little more on Tina than I should have, but she's worth it. Got quite a bit of stuff for my brother, too. I owe it to him, he's been there for me this year.
I look forward to Christmas. Not only do I know I'm getting some really cool stuff (check this out..I'm such a nerd), but I'm giving some cool stuff. Plus, Tina's gonna have her apartment all to herself...the roommate's going home for Christmas. :P
Also, since I got my promotion, I'll be able to pay for it all. They finally moved my ass up to manager...bought time. I'm finally back where I started a year ago, and I tell you what, it feels good. Except this time around, I actually have a plan of where I'm going, and a beautiful girl at my side.
I've got everything I want for Christmas. This has been a beautiful year and I look forward to next year.
