So you know that BBC 100 book meme that's been floating around for years? Just in case you haven't yet seen it debunked yet, the claim that "the BBC reckons most people will have only read 6 of the 100 books here" is patently false, (1) because the BBC has published no such piece, it was in The Guardian, and (2) because all the Guardian article ( Read more... )

For the two 100-book lists, I read 38 out of the first list and 36 out of the second, so I feel I'm quite literate enough.

Interesting meme....although I know I'm terrible at finishing them, so I'm not going to start. I'll just read yours everyday and hopefully find new books to want to read! :)

Yep I recall I got something in the 30-40 range. Thanks for reading, I hope you find some of these interesting (before you throw up your hands and start wondering if I read anything besides escapist fantasy haha).

There ought to be more Touchstone fans. Love the bells, also I'm pretty sure Garth Nix's Keys to the Kingdom is the only reason I know the seven deadly sins by heart.
