happy spring-ness
I love being able to lay around in bed all morning. I have finally made it to a point in my life where I can appreciate having nothing to do and doing nothing. Yes, there's reading for class and comps revisions that need to be done, but there's also plenty of time to do them. and sit and read or crochet for a while. or cuddle.
The job search is actually going well for the moment. I have an interview for a cool fellowship in DC in a couple weeks. I'm finding positions I actually feel qualified for and am able to write decent cover letters for. Still trying to decide if I would actually be okay with moving back to Portland next year. I love the city. But it's not someplace new (and exciting?). And it's awfully close to my parents. I still haven't decided whether that's a bad thing or not. DC has been looking more promising lately - in both an ability to get jobs there and L's willingness to move there. And many of our friends will be either in DC or on the East Coast. Well, no point in worrying overmuch about it right now, since I don't have a job anywhere yet.
We might get a thunderstorm tonight. I'm excited.
