It's Raining in Grand Rapids today; melting a lot of the snow away, thank goodness. Although, the snow packed to the ground is ice now...so we'll see how that shapes up the next week. Driving has been interesting so far with a broken windshield wiper motor and two bald front tires. Thankfully I have a second job now, with about 35 hours a week steadily available, so that should help out nicely with the things that Joe and I need. we're looking at new places to live now, well...actually we HAVE been looking, quite actively actually since about...oh...the end of october really. Definitely have squared away a lot of apartment complexes, but since we decided to quit smoking nearly 2 weeks ago, more options are available to us since we will be saving about $300 per month. This year has been pretty great actually...even though I've had some major life events on the "not-so-great-O-meter" - I love my job(s), I love my boyfriend and I'm starting to really dig Grand Rapids. Massage rebooking at the salon is starting to pick up, I'm getting the clients that say, well, yeah, I want to come in every month. well, hell yeah you do! I went down to 2 days a week there, and am working 5 days a week at Barnes Research as supplemental income. Even though I'm working 7 days a week now, it's pretty okay really, Barnes is a very easy, doesn't-take-a-lot-out-of-you job for 8 hours in the morning, and by 5pm I'm at home, doing things around the house. I got called off of work for today and tomorrow though...(that's why I'm home now, lol) gonna go do some laundry now, talk to you soon!
