Quizilla Um, along the same lines, I have bought an OBSCENE amount of yarn lately, and this is not an exaggeration (which comes as a shock I know since like every other thing out of my mouth is an exaggeration). I seriously have yarn for six different projects either in my house or in the mail on the way to my house. I feel slightly better because like, it's not just random yarn. I do know what I'm going to do with it. And it's not all for me in the sense that some of it will be made into things that I give to other people, but like THAT IS A LOT OF YARN.
And I don't know, we're into that part of the summer where I start randomly flipping out about my birthday and wondering if I totally wasted being twenty and thinking "AHH I SHOULD DO THINGS BEFORE I'M NOT TWENTY ANYMORE" which is STUPID really and it's not like you feel any older on the day of your birthday than you did the day before, there isn't some cataclysmic sim-type event where I spin around and confetti pops out of me and I'm older. It's just weird and I do this EVERY SINGLE YEAR and you'd think after like ALL THIS TIME I'd realize that it wasn't a big deal. And man was I really nineteen at this point last year?
And so yes. Other people- do whatever to curb their anxieties. And I buy yarn.
