If your web activity results in a lot of spam, I can see why you'd want to give a false email address to websites - the spam won't find you. I've got a ton of new spam in my gmail account for someone named "Betty" (same last name) in Mingo Junction [a village in Jefferson County, Ohio].

There's a story on the BBC this morning about the commercial hunting of lions that are bred for being hunted. They've never lived wild, and some are accustomed to humans.
