Me and five jillion other people wanted to see Batman this weekend. Alas, the local theater had only one showing during their "4-6PM Movie Extravaganza!" slot. Every once in a while I read these hilarious versions of movies some very witty people write and call "[movie] in 15 Minutes." brain_o_shaner sent me last night the one for "Wanted" and I was busting a gut. If you've already seen it, you'll probably laugh your ass off too. If you haven't, you'd probably still think it was funny. :)

Seeing an entry of rubygloomrox reminded me that I was going to rave about "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." It's hilarious in a totally absurd, wacky, raunchy, ridiculous kind of way. If you liked the other Apatow movies he's been punting out in the last couple of years, you'll love this one. I laughed so damn hard at a couple of spots near the end that my throat ( Read more... )

For those of you who might be interested, in the vein of films like "WAL-MART: The High Cost of Low Price" there's a movie coming out about Tom Delay. It's called "The Big Buy: How Tom Delay Stole Congress." The makers are announcing it today since Delay wins the primary election today.
