Family vacation is coming up. I have been moodswinging pretty horribly about this out of sheer nerves! MERRY CHRISTMAS, I AM HOME

...and my family has decided that in this house, today is christmas eve and tomorrow will be christmas. My head is confused but my heart is very happy.

Two days traveling for one day in Oregon, but it was worth it to see my sister graduate. Dropped my sister off at the airport bus this morning.

Somehow even though we were both home for christmas, this was a lot better in terms of us-time. I think it's because we automatically snap back into home life mode there- we hang out in the evenings but mostly ignore each other and live around each other during the day. My sisterling is visiting me this weekend! And so I will be scarce. Tonight she's already crashed, though. And snoring. Man, I remember when we were on family trips and she would talk about the seventh layer of hell in her sleep, I wonder if that still happens.
