(no subject)
I am flying back home to Denver tomorrow. Yes, on Christmas Eve. We will see how this goes. As per the family tradition, we'll spend Christmas at home and then immediately pack it in and drive up to the mountains to stay until after New Years. I am excited.
There's a pretty good chance that the net will not be working at one or more of these locations, and my cellphone never gets service up at the cabin, so if I drop off the face of the earth DON'T PANIC, this is normal.
I am so wound up right now, I'm not sure I can sleep.
I feel as though I've been gifted a little early this year. I trecked through the blizzard to anatari's to trade presents and see her lovely tree. (I also got to hang lights, hurrah decorating~ ) More than that, hitode and I were all over the place. She helped me buy presents, we went to Max Brenner's and saw The Princess and The Frog. AND ALSO yzak and nightangelca got us tickets to Rock of Ages and A Christmas Carol respectively. So much theater! ♥
........and we played my christmas movie while I wrapped things. (It's Love Actually. My parents can't stand it, so I always try and watch it before I go home. Last year we tried to stream it together from opposite sides of the country.)
So thank you, sugar. I had a really lovely week. Thank you everybody. And if I don't talk to any or all of you again before the new year, happy holidays.
