My sleep schedule is securely fucked, and I'm not sure if I should blame the pokey mans.
- ololol hi molestninjas. :(
- ...you showed up to literally ferry me two feet. What the fuck, guys.
- Oh, yes. That totally wasn't an "I am the real villain" monologue. Suuure.
- "What I just threw was TM56 Fling!" YOU THREW A FUCKING CD. AT MY FACE. AS I WALKED OUT OF THE BRIDGE GATE. YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE.
- Eh. Pokemon gangsters are at least better than pokemon CULTS. ....wait a minute. Your name is Roughnecker Reese? pfffffftahahahahahahaha that's my niece's name, man, you have a girl's name no wonder you turned to hooliganism. (Yes that is a real word shut up)
- "Waitress Flo". Of course you are.
- Caught L32 Miccino at Route 9. Nicknamed "Java"
- RELEASE YOUR POKEMON AND DRINK THE KOOL-AID. SO SAYETH GOATSEGHETSIS.
- Best reason to not release your pokemon: "I'll be lonely and sad!" NECKBEARD LOGIC, FOLKS.
- And here's the whole 'plot'. Logic vs emotion, "truth" vs "ideals". This implies that N is Lawful Neutral, and Protag is Chaotic Good. GoatseGhetsis, of course, is Neutral Evil to round out the trifecta. Cheren would likely be True Neutral (with neutral good leanings), whereas Bianca is Neutral Good through-and-through. Alder is Lawful Good, and Pokemon Rangers are Chaotic Evil. :|
- Caught L36 Rufflet at Route 10. Nicknamed "Colbert"
- ...I knew this was going to happen sooner or later. :|
- LOST Wriggle to wild Herdier. L20-L42
- WHAT THE FUCK THESE POKEMON ARE TRYING TO KILL ME.
- LOST Tetsuo to wild Boufflant. L22-L44
- Note to self: never go into double-battle grass. Ever. Again.
- On the plus: This is the last time I'll need to bug Sakon to trade-evolve. On the minus: I shouldn't've had to. I was careless, and it cost me.
- Knave evolved into Accelgor!
- Pinchy evolved into Escavalier!
- Java evolved into Cinccino!
- This was all to train Willow as a replacement for RM Steel, too. I guess the idea of ghost lights leading folks to their deaths has some validity. :| feels bad man
- (Brought out Pinchy and Java to replace Wriggle and Tetsuo)
- TUTOR ALL THE MOVES
- Willow evolved into Lampent! Evolved into Chandelure!
- Okay, everyone's caught up... well, mostly. I ran out of repels, so I guess it's time to tackle that gym, make some more cashin's.
- BITE ALL THE THINGS, RERUN. YESSSS.
- That... is a bit worrisome. She can't OHKO Druddigons or Fraxures...which means she needs to be able to survive a Revenge and very possibly some Dragon Danced Dragon Claws. Or I could run the gent who resists those moves, but... Hn. Decisions.
- Round 1 vs Iris: Fraxure, L41. I've been eating these up throughout the gym, so this should be no different. The advantage of Ice Fang is that it's goading Iris into burning her Hyper Potion stock early. It spends a second turn Dragon Dancing, and in turn never gets an attack off.
- Round 2 vs Iris: Druddigon, L41. I've dealt with these, but eating a Revenge HURTS, so I smack him with Thunder Wave first. On the plus side, when it used Revenge, Rerun missed on Ice Fang, or it could've been a OHKO. On the minus, I still have to burn a turn healing. After which, it Dragon Tails me over to Parrrsnips who finishes the job with Acrobatics. Iris having a Sheer Force Druddigon as opposed to a Rough Skin Druddi helped me out there.
- Final round vs Iris: Haxorus, L43. I know if it gets even ONE Dragon Dance under its belt I'm solidly fucked, speed-wise, so I sensibly paralyze it on first turn. Immediately after, switch to Pinchy for a defensive option - as far as I know, there's nothing Haxorus can do that it won't resist. Four DDs in a row spells bad news - if it gets so much as a single hit in, it's liable to sweep the fuck out of things. On the other hand, it only needs one more hit to kill it. So it comes down to... "The Foe's Haxorus is paralyzed! It can't move!" Ffffffffffffyesssssss. Victoly, suckas.
- Oh hi Juniper. You know, White's Opelucid City song sounds so... calm. Almost melancholy, even.
- "ZEKROM WILL WAKE UP WHEN THE DEUS EX MACHINA TELLS IT TO." Yes, thank you for that obvious information.
- ffff i know where the pokemon league is, mom, you don't have to show me. I lost one of my best fighters there. :C
- Master Ball GET. You KNOW that shit's gettin' chunked at the Deus Ex Machina mon. Normally, Master Balls are anathema to Nuzlocke challenges, but considering Black/White's narrative, Zekrom would be the ONLY place I'd feel okay using it.
- GODDAMN IT CHEREN WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU STILL CHALLENGING ME, GO AWAY.
- Rock Blast, Bullet Seed, Rock Blast, Wake-Up Slap. I literally swept your entire team with a fluffy grey thing I caught just before I got to the last town, Cheren. You suck. Leave me alone for the rest of ever.
- Max Revives. That's a funny joke, Bianca. And to think, I thought you were okay, before. :|
- Huh. You know, it's a neat effect, the instruments slowly filtering in as you enter more badge gates.
Saved at Victory Road, 30:58. 2 Pokemon lost: Wriggle (Scolipede, L20-L42) and Tetsuo (Conkeldurr, L22-L44)
Current team stats:
Rerun, L46 Stoutland (F), Sand Rush
Held Item: Expert Belt
Return/Thunder Fang/Ice Fang/Thunder Wave
Rerun worries me, now and then. She might be getting in over her head, as her stats are decidedly average all around, there's no ready source of sandstorm to speed her up, and that Fighting weakness crops up more and more. However, Thunder Wave has proven to be an invaluable boon, both in the Dragon gym and against random trainers, making things a little more managable for everyone involved.
Tank, L43 Carracosta (M), Sturdy
Held Item: Rocky Helmet
Aqua Jet/Surf/Rock Slide/Waterfall
Tank hasn't seen much action these last two updates, but she still manages to outshine RM Steel's earlier performances. She's a little weaker, but I find that I need Water to take care of stubborn Fire and Rock types far more than I need Rock for flyers or ice-mongers. Even if I did, there are other options for taking care of that now.
Parrrsnips, L46 Simisage (M), Gluttony
No Held Item
Seed Bomb/Leech Seed/Acrobatics/Grass Knot
Parrrsnips is still toughin' it out. He may not be the strongest poke out there, but he fills a niche nobody else in the party does - he has nothing to fear from Fighting Types past raw damage. Even random Scrafties and Conkeldurrs might carry Rock Slide, which would shut down Willow completely, and Pinchy can handle the damage just fine, but can't really do much of it in return.
Java, L43 Cinccino (F), Technician
Held Item: Scope Lens
Bullet Seed/Rock Blast/Tail Slap/Wake-Up Slap
It's a tiny furry Octillery, I swear. Technician is just a fantastic skill, and I'd even seriously hesitate before swapping it for Skill Link if I was looking at the metagame. As it is, every hit of those multi-hit moves is boosted, has its crit chance boosted (via Scope Lens), and can hit Water, Ground, Flying, or Ice for Super-Effective, just to name a few, plus Tail Slap gets STAB on top of that. She's a glass cannon, though, so I have to watch out keeping her out against sturdier mons who can take the beating she gives.
Pinchy, L42 Escavalier (F), Swarm
Held Item: Quick Claw
Iron Head/X-Scissor/Aerial Ace/Slash
Speaking of sturdy mons. If you avoid the 4x Fire weakness (fairly easy to do for now, though endgame will be dicey), Bug/Steel is a fantastic defensive typing. Pinchy is proving her worth even now with soaking up hits, and while Iron Head won't win any games, X-Scissor and Aerial Ace are likely to be my main go-to options for tackling the Elite 4.
Willow, L42 Chandelure (F), Flash Fire
Held Item: BrightPowder
Will-O-Wisp/Flame Burst/Shadow Ball/Fire Blast
Ah, Chandelure. There's so much promise there, but I'm hesitant to even consider you, considering your best moves (Flamethrower, Psychic) all come post-game on TMs. On the other hand, you're my means of dealing with Ghost types and Steel types, so...
