yay summer!
yesterday was so much fun! i love fishing...it always promises good times. the day started with me, nilou, caitlin, and kasey sneaking out of nilou's house and having andrew silently drive by to pick us up at like 1 in the morning. now that was an adventure. it took us like an hour to figure out exactly how we were going to do it and me and nilou running up and down the steps to test out the doors and if we were making too much noise. it was fun.
once we actually got to andrew's house i found cute little cory all bundeled up and sleeping on the chair....so of course i couldn't let him be that peaceful so i woke him up by mounting him. i don't think he realized it happened because he opened his eyes and grunted then fell back to sleep. i think i was expecting a more surprised look. but once he was fully awoken we ended up going back to sleep, in andrew's closet of all places, about an hour or so later.
hmmm wake up at like 5 in the morning to start the fishing adventure on only about 2 hours of sleep. nick was so cute with his basket of goodies...which would be like 30 sandwiches and bags of chips for all to enjoy. he will make a great father because of that. but i forgot my pole so i had to borrow one, but couldn't string it because i've never done that before (that's what charlie's for), and then i couldn't cast it for the life of me. but once i got into the water it was hard to see the bobber because smart me decided to not wear contacts which equals me being blind and can't see anything that is about 20 feet in front of me. but regardless it was still fun. i got my hook caught on a log and it was funny to see cory tring to get it undone, but felt bad after it broke. I CAUGHT TWO FISH! yay that was fun to reel them in even though they were like 4 inches long.
man the geese are crazy done there! they were swqauking so loud....it made you want to throw something at them but didn't because it would also make you feel bad. they were running around chasing each other with their necks out. towards the end of the day they started to attack us at the picnic table, which made me and caitlin stand on top of the table and then eventually run away.
after fishing cory came back to my house to swim and for a wonderful nap that was greatly needed. jesse and michelle were there and they brought champ and beatrice. those dogs are so funny. champ peed in the dog pool my mom bought and then continued to swim in it and try to eat the water while doing so. it was funny to watch but still a little gross. after swimming i was off to work. not really fun but my day was awsome. we should do this again sometime. thanks for the fishing nick.
