Vote Republican if you don’t want surpluses
Tuesday, February 26, 2008 10:31 PM PST
In her letter of Feb. 17 Bonnie Parsons says we must vote Republican for a better America.

It certainly worked in 2000. We elected Bush president and he immediately made America better by eliminating the budget surplus inflicted on us by those tax-and-spend liberals.

It worked again in 2004. We voted Republican and the danger of a budget surplus was further reduced. If we vote Republican in 2008 it should be possible to make sure America never again has to face the threat of a budget surplus.

The letter also points out that a godly, educated president is better than an educated fool. That is most certainly true, but is a godly, educated fool the best we can do?

" I would rather have a sex addict in office with a nation in the black and respected in the world than a war monger that jumps into combat without a goal in mind and a true plan to accomplish said goals, a dollar thats worth half of what it once was or less, with almost every industrialized nation's population spitting at the mere thought of someone being an American.

Yes, clinton lied, but guess what. so did george w. GET OVER IT "

" If GW has told so many lies, then why has he NOT BEEN IMPEACHED?
It must just drive you dem's TOTALLY crazy to live in a RED COUNTY!
And to think GW has done such a poor job that he was elected to a 2nd term becuase the voting public had EVEN LESS FAITH IN A DEMOCRAT.
The democrats may end up in office and only time will tell IF they can do better and until they DO better...Your opinion means less than nothing. "

" Actually I'm a registered independent. It means i can THINK independently and look at all sides all parties for a good strong candidate. But yes I'm sure that some people go crazy over being in a so called 'red county'. Probably just as crazy as people like thenwhy go for living in a 'blue state'.

And if my opinion means less than nothing, i guess it still has more value than yours. "
