Vote Republican if you don’t want surpluses

In her letter of Feb. 17 Bonnie Parsons says we must vote Republican for a better America.

It certainly worked in 2000. We elected Bush president and he immediately made America better by eliminating the budget surplus inflicted on us by those tax-and-spend ( Read more... )

Don't get me wrong, not a fan of Bush or rampant spending, but why does anyone think having a budget surplus is a good thing? That just means the government is stealing money from you it doesn't even have a plan to use.

Calling Clinton a sex addict is like calling Bush stupid. It might be true, but it completely misses the point of why they were/are bad presidents. Both presided over more scandals, and broke more laws, than all other administrations combined. They're both trash and people should remember it.

this is why *I* should be pushed into the head office. a total revamp of our government into something that operateds extremely efficiently. no more 4000 dollar toilet seats just tell the maintenance guy to hit home depot and buy one for 50.

but nooooooooooooo because im not old and have enough money to burn a wet horse to death with 100 dollar bills, we have to put up with more of the same all the way around.

morons! i hate politicians. i hate people that think bush is god more though.
