(no subject)
So the dengue outbreak has made it's way through just about everyone on the program here, and things are looking up! Josh is pretty much the only one still sick, he just came down with it a couple days ago. Now that everyone is better hopefully we'll be able to do some partying soon - we haven't in ages!
Anyway I'm feeling nice an motivated. I think I'll get a lot done today.
Oh yeah, and I'm getting my advanced diver certification - Mike (our DSO) is offering it because he is a certified dive instructor and it's only going to cost my 15 bucks! It usually runs in the hundreds! Eight of us are signed up for it. So far it's a lot of fun :) We started doing the training dives for it last day-off.
To get certified you have to do five dives. The one's we're scheduled for are:
~Deep Dive (Already done, we did one last day-off to 100ft!)
~Navigational Dive (Already did this one too - that was actually pretty tough)
~Night Dive (I can't WAIT for this one - it's going to be so awesome!)
~Search and Recovery (Again, exciting! We get to use lift bags and stuff!)
~Peak Bouyancy (Seems kinda lame - but should be pretty usefull :))
Anyway, I guess that's all that is really going on. Oh, I did get a grade back. The corals exam I took - for the class that I was feverish for - I actually did well! I got an 89!! Yay!! I thought I did much worse than that :)
Hehe, ok well more dives today, and I have to write a paper, yay. Plus lecture and such ofcourse.
