Everything in the kitchen is hidden.  The old cutlery is beside the extra packets of macaroni and cheese, which are inside some Tupperware used mainly for popcorn.  Sometimes, one box of cereal is completely removed from the cereal cupboard and found next to the scented candles and matches instead.  The most convenient things are usually in the ( Read more... )

my dad is wearing a lifejacket (this way, the cars will see me in the dark).

I imagine how it is for my grandma, who sits alone all day. Well, she has friends come over occassionally from down the hall or the other floors or floor eleven because that's where Luba lives, but it isn't the same.
