My friends list is suddenly a sea of "You are about to view content that may only be appropriate for adults" cut tags. Is it the Second Coming?
Okay, I changed my user info to add my year of birth and now all the regular cut tags are showing up. So, uh, nevermind. I guess. Some more information about the adult content settings can be found linked here. I'm feeling a little more iffy about this "flagging" thing, with the handy little button right next to every single post on every single page for you to accidentally click on. That's a little, yeah.
This also raises a quandary: should I change my Adult Content settings to reflect the fact that I sometimes write filthy porn, or is that giving in to The Man? I mean, I would have hated this new LJ setting when I was 13, but it's not like you can't lie in your userinfo. None o' my beeswax, really, as long as I don't know about it. (I'm turning into a big hypocrite, too -- the thought of underage people reading my more explicit fic really weirds me out. That might be a point in the "should change settings" column.)
