It pisses me off that LJ is basically forcing me to tell my age. It's none of their damn business how old I am, as long as I'm at least 18, dammit!

Yeah, that's a good point -- why not just have an option in our settings to permanently check the "over 18" button, without us having to fill in our entire birth date? That's about as much as a lot of other sites do.
