In light of the major hype about Lost coming back in five days, I decided to ask a couple of my friends why they liked (or disliked in a couple cases) Jate and then I thought, well, why not find out what the rest of my flist thinks about the subject

Firstly, you've been pimped my dear! ;-) And yay! For a debate here...cause those pesky little crazies over at FBL didn't accept my challenge ;-) Bwahaha, wonder why. Anyway...

gosh I don't know if I can articulate everything I love about Jate in just one moment and one post. I tend to always think of more later so you'll probably get numerous posts from me going "oh! and another thing!" lol So, lemme see what I can get down right now.

First of all, since this is already being discussed, I love that they DO seem like the couple that would get married and have Jabies! Yes! Jabies! Woo! lol erm, sorry. But yeah, I guess that's just a personal preference of whether you like that kinda thing or not, so I can understand why those that don't like it would gravitate towards Skate but me? I'm a traditional romantic all the way so yes, give me marraige and lots and lots of Jabies and I'm a happy girl!

♥ I love Jate because they never would have found each other if not for the island, they were basically worlds apart, but fate still managed to bring them together.

♥ I love Jate because in their very first meeting, they basically confessed some of their deepest issues to each other (jack needing to "fix" things and kate running) and Jack predicted what would be the future for them right then "you're not running now"

♥ I love Jate because they don't need words to express how they're feeling. Just by looks and actions alone I felt like I've been watching two people fall in love over the course of the show.

♥ I love Jate because they're exactly what each other needs. Jack needs someone to loosen him up, bring out the fun side of him...but also be able to listen to and understand him, and be strong enough to fight him on certain things. Kate also needs this last thing, and someone who is stable to teach her how to be, she DOES need someone that can fix her and help heal the wounds she's accumulated from her past. They can help heal each others wounds. Well, she already literally proved she can do that for him huh? ;-)

Okay, it's late and this is long but it's definately not all I got, so lets call this part one! :D I'll be back tomorrow with Part two!

Hey, I'm the same way. I'm old fashioned. Jack and Kate are the type to grow old together and that's so incredibly romantic in my mind. Sawyer and Kate seem like the type to divorce after six months and that just sucks.

Part two? That sounds awesome. I think I might compile a list of reasons why people love Jate and then throw it at all Skaters. ;)

Lol! How weird is that I just responded to you in a comment down there somewhere and I used the icon your used for ^ that comment. hee. Eww I don't like typing out the name of it, but it's "Fishbiscuitland" and its a place where all the worst excuses for Skaters/human beings gather and talk shit about Jack/Jate and even Foxy himself. They're big losers basically. lmao

Part two is still coming! I just need to finish catching up to everything! lol
