Busy weekend. I am in Chattanooga at the beautiful Downtown Doubletree hotel. for the KDCCW convention. It's been nice so far and the keynote speaker at dinner was lovely. It is always so nice to see everyone. We have stuff starting at 7, don't see myself making that, it will be nice though.

I am looking forward to convention.  I didn't go last year but it always inspirational.  Some of the workshops are topics I feel strongly about so I know I will enjoy those.  I also enjoy the fellowship and reconnection with women I look up to and respect but only get to see one or twice a year ( Read more... )

It's TCAP week again so Thomas has to eat a healthy breakfast before school- he often forgets to eat so I bought french toast sticks so he would want to eat breakfast at home- this way I can monitor what he eats and make sure he is eating ( Read more... )

I spent most of the day baking for my Council of Catholic Women meeting tonight.  I made pumpkin bars, oh and these were sooooooo good- I'm glad I had some of these left over.  Two kinds of brownies, one with nuts, one without. De just left. It's nice to have some peace and quiet. All the kids are in bed. I am so thankful for the quiet right now. Tomorrow is going to be so hectic. Wow. Today was the end of an era. My last day working for Dad. It doesn't seem like it. It doesn't feel like the end. Oh well come Monday, and I have no job to go to it will.
