Snow. We are getting a little; nothing like was called for of course.
Feeling weird. So many things I want to write about, don't know where to start.
Kids were out of school for a full month when they finally went back on the 19th. They were out again today. If the snow and ice continue they will be out at least Monday and Tuesday. They are out of snow days so they will lose a day of winter break-makes no sense why they have one anyway.
Things have been yo-yoing with Elle. One minute she is happy and talking, the next she clams up and sulks in her room. Her girlfriend broke up with her the other day. I saw it coming, as much time as she has been spending with Nick in Knoxville.
De is driving me nuts, indirectly. She is not causing conflicts or anything. She comes over every weekend, not a bad thing. The problem is she only wants to sleep on the couch in the living room. We told her today that she couldn't do that anymore, she had to sleep in James' room, Elle's room or on the couch in the basement. I need my time before bed without kids. I NEED that. I have always needed that. That is why my kids have a bedtime, a fairly early bedtime at that. They are in bed reading between 8-8:30, they read for about 1/2 hour, then lights out. Simple. I have the few hours I need to myself for my sanity.
We got about 3/4 of a truckload of wood yesterday, this is good. Should last for awhile, hopefully the rest of the winter.
