rollercoaster ride

The last few days have been a roller coaster of emotions.  Not all bad, but not all good either.  We have had some struggles with the boys.  Thomas' mouth was getting him in trouble, we started getting him up earlier and giving him his meds and his attitude has improved immeasurably.  He cleaned his room without argument yesterday, and got it done very quickly to boot.  Tom and I had a thing in the morning.  I was frustrated and angry he was dizzy when we had plans,  he tried to compensate by doing stuff on my to-do list, I sulked and then yelled at him.  We had a good long talk and all was good,.  We said some things that really needed to come out, and had a better day because of it.

Tom and I watched TV together, something we rarely do, it was nice cuddling on the couch.  Family Guy got to be a bit much for me.  Elle made me angry by telling me at 11p.m. she had dentist appointment today to have her wisdom teeth pulled.  This was not in my plans for my day, especially since I had intended to go knit today.  So I went downstairs and started cleaning mt room, putting away the laundry I had done yesterday, etc.  Tom came down to make me feel better and started cleaning too!  We made some real progress.  We had 3 totes full of crap, no we are down to less than one, of course we brought a partial bin upstairs (books and such that belong upstairs).

So yesterday turned out to be productive if a bit emotional.
