Cold
It is so damn cold here. I hate the cold unless I at least can have the hope of snow.
We had 4" of rain last week when t was warm, now that it is cold enough for snow it's sunny and clear.
It is colder than a whore's heart right now and just getting colder. They said on the news last night that our temps were 20 degrees lower than normal! And me out of wood. Arghh.
We have been out of wood for awhile but it really has only been cold enough for a fire once or twice. I was able to get a trunk load from a friends father. Unfortunately it hasn't been seasoned so it's not burning very hot, or staying hot for very long. I guess beggars can't be choosers. I was just able to pick this up last night, but at least I'll have some for the cold this weekend. I am going to have to buy more and I really want seasoned wood, but most people will tell you it's seasoned and split but it's not.
