Life not going as planned right now

I don't think I posted about having to have my transmission rebuilt last month.  If you remember Elle ran over a curb and it knocked the transmission the wrong way so on November 4th I paid almost $1300- which I don't have- to have it rebuilt.  Had to as it's our only car.

Nope no wireless mouse or keyboard. My computer won't load (it just keeps rebooting) when anything is plugged into the usb ports, so we unplugged all usb stuff (like our trackball) when we turn it on, heck that's our only usb thing.
My hubby built it and the drive was original. Not sure how much power it has but Karla (computer chic) didn't have a problem with it. The a fan mount blew and we had to replace the fan, with one that would work on the remaining mounts. However it won't attach anymore because the remaining prongs on the mount have come off now; discovered this when it wouldn't even get to the start-up screen before shutting down so I made hubby take it apart to see what the hell.
Now I have no clue and haven't brought it back to be fixed because Karla said it would cost several hundred dollars because she would have to take out the motherboard, etc to replace the CPU fan, (this is the bracket that broken) Tom doesn't think we have to take it out to attach a new one, however it's finding a replacement that we can't seem to do.

Any ideas?
