that is *so* cool that you live near Amoeba. I went there when I visited LA a few years ago, and was drooling in love.

I was afraid it would be one of those overrated places you've heard about too much to really enjoy, but, no. It's as awesome as everyone says. It's probably two or three miles from work, tops, and on my way home. Cannot wait to swing by next week. (I try to restrain myself from going, you know, a few times a week.)
