I have made a lot of progress on the apartment. Unfortunately, for the moment it looks very cluttered because I have to call sanitation to pick up a pile of junk I have amassed (old printers, a broken chair, an old microwave, etc.) before I can move the new shelf units into place and put down the new carpeting. The third draft of Ecology is finally in the last stage of its development. That is to say, it is finished, but it needs to be edited as there are a few scenes that seem to go on a bit too long. The length is approximately 131 pages at the moment, and ideally I'd like to get it down to under 120.

All of a sudden there are a bunch of things on my plate. The good news is that they're all things I'm happy to have there. I have a review of the Fellowship of the Ring complete recordings to finish, the Ecology home stretch with suitboyskin and an obsession with Bernard Herrmann that came on suddenly.

I recieved my pre-ordered copy of the soundtrack from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire yesterday, but I didn't find it until I was walking out of my apartment this morning. suitboyskin and I got a whole lot of work done on Ecology today. A few things that were kind of dangling have come together and suitboyskin is insisting that as far as the screenplay is concerned, we are at the endgame now. I sure hope so. This revision started out really fast, but over time both of us have gotten very distracted.

Well, I was wondering whether I'd be able to multitask in terms of writing, but tonight I had a double whammy inspiration for both Ecology and another project I've been working on simultaneously.
