I recieved my pre-ordered copy of the soundtrack from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire yesterday, but I didn't find it until I was walking out of my apartment this morning. Rather than miss the bus, I decided to grab a USB cable and the power chord for the Nomad and do the transfer once I got to work. I dropped the stupid songs from the end of the album (I only hope that these are popified versions of the songs that actually appear in the Yule Ball sequence). Whomever designed the inside cover must be a Hermione/Draco shipper as they are placed in great proximity to one another in a two-leaf collage.

You scored as Albus Dumbledore. Strong and powerful you admirably defend your world and your charges against those who would seek to harm them. However sometimes you can fail to do what you must because you care too much to cause suffering.

QuizFarm.com Work on Ecology is proceeding. The weekend I spent with
suitboyskin was very productive, and I narrowed what work is ahead of us to three scenes, and then I have to attack it with a machete in order to pare it down to a workable length. The rule of thumb is that a page of script equals a minute of screen time, and we want the film to be less than two hours long. At the moment, the working version of the screenplay is 135 pages, without those three new scenes. So that means that I can reasonably expect to have to cut about 20 pages or so worth of material, a task which would seem rather insurmountable were it not for the fact that the first draft of this thing was a 178 page monstrosity which I whittled down to superior 114 page version on a very productive day. So I know that I can do it, and I also know that there is probably some redundant material as well. Furthermore, I have an idea on how I can use scenes to do double-duty at the beginning of the film. I'm hoping to have a viable version of the script completed within two weeks.
