Well, today was for the most part pretty dismal. A bad night's sleep, bad weather, stress, a long boring day at work, and to top it off my computer decided to stop turning on again this morning. It's been doing this periodically since August, but no matter how many times CompUsa's (slowly and shoddily) "repaired" it, it still keeps malfunctioning. Now CompUsa is going out of business, and I have to get them to fix my computer for real before the holidays, or it'll be too late. I've called requesting a replacement computer, or at least compensation for the gallons of gas I've spent going to and from the nearest CompUsa store (which is over 100 miles away) but they say no, and say that they'll only refund a computer if it's been repaired ten times and they've replaced the parts each three times. And that's somehow going to happen before Christmas. Ha. I'm going to be lucky if I can even get someone to come tinker around with my tower before Christmas. If I can't, or they don't fix my poor little compy right, I am going to be hosed, hosed, hosed. *crosses fingers* Please let it get fixed, and for real this time!
However, one extremely lovely thing did happen today! About a week ago my mother found a really good rate on a trip to Paris, France. Ever since we've been debating whether we should go or not. Well, tonight we made a decision. And that decision was yes. Oh my gosh! Can you believe it?! I'm going to Paris! I'm going to see Versailles! Whoo! Unless something unfortunate and unforeseen should drop from the heavens and prevent our departure, we will be going there next September. That will give me time to finish paying for school, finish my classes, and have purchased some nice lolita clothes. (There is no way I'd visit Marie Antoinette's home without being properly dressed in a proper lolita ensemble, if I did I'd be a shame to my kind!) Oh, I'm so excited! I've dreamed of going to Versailles forever! I'll get to see the Petite Apartments, and the Meridiene, and the dragon fountain, and the Petite Trianon and Le Hameau, and the Royal Chapel and... Oh, it's going to be so awesome!!!
