Amelia hasn't been well. Some of you may recall that she had a nasty staining incident. Well she's almost better, it's slow progress, but I thought it might cheer her up to get out a bit in her pretties. I really love Dollfie Dreams, they stand so well and are just so gorgeous looking!

Well it's happened again - and it is horrifically worse than last time. Poor Amelia.
When I first got Amelia I managed to stain her head by trying on a purple wig - trying on, mind you. It was a matter of a minute.
It took forever to treat her head and make it right again - and now I have stuffed up on a massive scale.

One thing about a slightly overcast day, means nice coloured wigs will show up well in photos!
tonto65 and I took the opportunity to take some group shots of our girls. I resolved to not let Imogen's new wig intimidate me again, so gave it another try with the clips. I think it worked better this time :-)

As I said previously, Susannah has a new wig. Amelia and Susannah decided that the time was right for some outdoor shots.
I really do feel like I neglect these two - so it was nice to take some pictures of them together. Not feeling well today, so it was nice to see their smiley faces.

Susannah looks very happy because she has a new wig. When I first got Susannah I bought her a nice wig but it was very cheap and didn't have an elasticized wig cap. This new one does... and I think she looks completely different.

It's been a lovely day in Adelaide today. Nice 22 degree day. Perfect for gardening and taking photos of dollies. Well I managed the gardening anyway.

This morning Tonto and I de-headed our Dollfie Dreams. Their eyes have been stuck in with blu-tack for about 6 months and I'd had the Volks Eye Putty hanging around for ages meaning to fix them. ( Read more... )
