(no subject)
Thanks to everyone who gave advice regarding the cat & kitten situation - at present they are staying with the mother, and the person who had sort-of assumed responsiblity for them, seems to be being a little more responsible - they've promised to get the two parent cats (only about 8 months old themselves) neutered, and I think they may have found some homes for the kittens. I'll be in the vicinity again from this weekend, so I'll check further on the situation and won't intervene if it seems the cats are being looked after, with clean accommodation etc. and a definite plan to sort things out.
I wish I could take one or two home as a birthday present to myself, but never mind, it's not to be!
Going to visit Fullers brewery on Monday, and then a trip to Whitstable for mi pareja's birthday - have booked for Wheelers for (hopefully) some top-class seafood, then perhaps we'll get some decent beer and fish & chips by the sea :-) I don't even care if it rains, I'll happily eat chips under an umbrella, on a windswept beach, fending off seagulls if necessary!
