Simon killed another bird this afternoon. I was outside taking out the recycling, and he walked up to me with a dead bird in his mouth, looking very proud of himself. Unfortunately, I'm reinforcing his behaviour by praising him and giving him positive attention when he brings me a dead bird, because I feel so guilty about throwing them out and having freaked out in the past when he brought them inside. Also, due to being under a lot of stress, I yelled at Simon earlier when his scratching at the door was pissing me off, so I felt really guilty about that--I yelled at him, and then not even an hour later, he brings me a "present".
