It's beginning to look a lot like Xmas.

So, happy holidays, my friends. However you celebrate, or if you don't at all, I hope it all goes well.

I was a bit late in replying to the last post's comments as I had a busy few weeks. I drove to Michigan to stay over night and met the director of the Weimaraner rescue I had applied to. She had 7 dogs in her house for me to look at, plus a few more next door, lol. And I chose Winston. He's a 4 year-old male who is very overweight. He's 137 pounds and supposed to be about 85. So, needless to say, we are making a daily walk a necessity. I don't think he's had a lot of walks, but he's taken to them like a duck to water. He loves, loves, loves going out hiking with me. It's a horrible time of year for it, but we're trying to get out whenever we can.

In any case, he and I had a 6 hour drive home, and he's been with me nearly a month now. He's adjusted well, and I'm still learning his quirks, and he is my big baby. I was afraid he wouldn't like me for some reason, but he doesn't leave my side if I am home.

And THEN, I started a new job, and I'm still training. So it's been a bit hectic both physically and emotionally. Eesh.

And then the Walking Dead went on winter hiatus. So. Whew.

Also, just as I was answering comments today, my youngest nephew ran into my room and started wiggling his loose tooth and staring at me wide-eyed, and then it fell out right into my lap. Hahahahaha. He's now missing his two front teeth and it's hilarious.

ANYWAY. Have a happy holiday, peeps!
