• 2 heads Cabbage
• 2 bunches Arugula
• 4 Zucchini
• 4 Eggplant
• 12 Spartan Apples
  = 36 lbs

+ 4 assorted Peppers
+ half a giant Cabbage
+ 2 Leeks

Oops, forgot to hit Post. This is from last week. There has been lots of yum including more zucchini noodles. This time, I went more traditional with a curry peanut sauce. Good stuff. Having put last week's tomatoes into Indian food and bruschetta, I made a big batch of straight-up roasted tomato sauce this time around. Or a small batch, since the yield is kinda tiny ( Read more... )

And so there was more pot pie and more bruschetta and of course straight-up amazingly delicious corn. Also mashed turnips with carrots. No soup yet, but soon. Most of us are sick right now which sucks big time, and today's big project is trying to deal with a flat tire.

Today there was horrible news on the farm share front that I'm not going to get into right now because I'm too distraught. I get way too emotionally invested in my produce. So for now, this is all about last week.
