I hate trail markers of life.

I seriously do... Thinking back and reflecting never goes well.

FYI... my grandpa passed away saturday morning, I'm going home tonight the wake is tomorrow and the funeral is tuesday. I don't really know when I'll be back yet, but not back in CU until at least weds. Thanks for all of your thoughts and I hope you guys have a good week.

All of you know this, but I thought I'd put it in writing just to formalize it.

I'm back. There was no teary good bye, it's just not my family/me/my grandpa. He is fine right now, like he seems completely normal, but we all know that in a week or less he will be gone. In a way its really sad, but like I've said right now he's happy. He will see everyone before he goes, he's eating what he wants (no more diets) and just kinda ( Read more... )

So, just FYI. My grandfather has decided to go off of his dialysis. This basically means he will die in 2-4 weeks, slowly and painfully. It's his choice so I support it, but it doesn't make this any easier. I just wanted to let everyone know once and now so I don't have to tell the story multiple times.
