(no subject)
Ok. Here goes I know its mostly LJ friends who will read this b/c I won't be on AIM for the link to be available.
I am leaving in about ooh 3 hours to go home. I apparently had my time wrong, my grandfather will only be conscious for a few more days before he slips into a coma and then passes away (most likely due to congestive heart failure and heart attack). So far I haven't really been able to think about any of this so I'm doing pretty well. I am kinda concentrating on the fact that its his choice to do this, so I have to respect that, and it, for now, makes this somehow slightly easier. I don't know when I'm gonna be back. I'm assuming that I'll come back here for about a day or two and then go back for the funeral. Right now I think this is best because I just seriously can't miss too many labs and tests or I'll be really screwed, but its all gonna change as soon as I get to Iowa on weds and everything becomes real. Thank you to all of you who have IMed, I haven't been able to get back to you, but it does seriously mean a lot. I hope everyone does well while I'm away. I should be able to update the LJ sometime before I get back, but if not I'll update in full when I return.
