Bumbershoot was this weekend but we didn't go.  The past few days have looked like the apocalypse.  Huge clouds pouring over the mountains with lightning (but no thunder -- that freaks the hell out of me) and windstorms.

I'm not scheduled to work tomorrow, and it's a relief.  Between my Friday night closing shift and my Saturday opening shift I served $1,500 in food/drinks/etc.  Now I'm exhausted.

The end of my second quarter at UW is drawing to a close and I don't feel any more optimistic about my school career as I did on the first day.... actually I probably feel quite less optimistic.  Maybe it's the dreary weather and short days, perhaps the dead-end miserable job, maybe it's the finals.... but I've just been feeling down lately.
