Saturday DITL
This should have been a much more interesting DITL than it turned out to be, but I kept getting distracted and forgetting to take pictures. Oops!
I should get out of bed and get moving, but this book is so intriguing that I don't want to put it down!
But eventually I get going. It's 9:28, in case you can't tell.
Breakfast! We made waffles last Sunday and froze the leftovers.
Ugh, dishes.
Husband goes for a bike ride
And I pull out my favorite book
Put on some Buffy
And bake mini red velvet cupcakes!
Piper chills
Now that the cupcakes are cooking, I hop in the shower
Appropriately, I choose my cupcake shirt
Then I make the icing
Here's where I start forgetting to take pictures. This is coming back after grabbing some pizza for lunch
Then pull out my icing dispenser and frost the cupcakes
Ta da!
On my way upstairs, I see a tired puppy.
I give my hair a break from the blow dryer on the weekend, so this is what I end up with.
That's better.
I browse the internets for a bit
To the car again
While waiting for our friends to meet us, we browse the gourmet dog store
I neglect the pictures during ice cream, but how could I forget pics with Mr. Carter?
He didn't feel like smiling for the camera, but I guess a hungry 3-week old is entitled to be a little grumpy.
Upon returning home, we find kitties in the sun
Then we meet other friends for dinner at Cheesecake Factory, but of course we have to wait. So we waste time in the Lego store.
I find my favorite ninja turtle!
Here's another major photo fail, as I don't take any pictures at dinner. Here are my delicious leftovers!
Remy would like some attention please
You like his bald spot? After eating the same food for over a year, Remy decided that he was allergic to it. He scratched and bit several bald spots on himself before we fixed the problem with new food and a prednisone injection (because the pills did nothing).
We spend the rest of the evening watching Castle.
Then I take Logan out to pee for the last time.
Bedtime! Brush teeth
Take pills
And finish book. Good night!
